Hello I’m Ms. Kristina.

We are located in Lake California, Cottonwood Ca, in Tehama County.  We are in a gated community.  We are available for enrollment for those who live outside of the gated community.  That being said, unfortunately we do not provide transportation for pick up or meeting outside of the gate, children would have to be brought to the home through the security gate for drop off and pick up.

​My family and I moved to Lake California 7 years ago. My neighbor/friend and I would talk about starting a family childcare. Over time this was a fleeting thought but then I began working at the YMCA youth programs, and decided to go back to school and get my degree in early childhood education.

It is with great excitement to be making a fleeting thought a possibility. Our age range is 3 months to 5 years of age. We will have a max of 12 total children and of those, 3 may be infants. Our ratio will always be 1:6 but during the main hours of the day, mid-morning to nap, we hope to be staffed at a 1:4 ratio. The purposed plan will be myself, a lead teacher, and an assistant.

​A little about me, I have been with youth programs at the YMCA for the last 3 years, a lead preschool teacher at North Cottonwood and then a substitute the last year while finishing my degree. I have 3 children, 5, 9, and 21. I am married and my husband is an Army Veteran, and currently works in environmental infrastructure. Before the last 5 years, I was a stay-at-home mom, before that a Flight Attendant, and once upon a time, an assistant manager at Black Bear Diner.

I have my AS in early childhood education, AS transfer to continue my early childhood education, and early childhood education certificate. I am currently awaiting to be licensed here in Lake California. Our contingency plan to open is mid August with our license. We are at the top part of Lake California, at the end of a side street, with wonderful neighbors, we believe safety is important and have an active security/fire/safety system through ADT, and meet safety standards throughout the house.

     *Your child’s name and age Days you are desiring and time frame of care.         (example Monday-Wednesday 7:15-3:30)
     *Full-time or part-time (3 days or 5 days) Interested in half days such as 3         days 8:30-12:00 Currently it would be Monday-Friday, closed holidays.               (There will be exceptions and changes as we work through all the first’s)
